Malachite green dye waste is one of the wastes that genotoxic and carcinogenic to humans. Biosorption an effective process for removal recovery from aqueous solutions. In this study, biomass used was a langsat shell which had been immobilized with sodium silicate. The obtained biosorbents were characterized using Fourier Transform Infra-Red (FTIR). research, we determine effect dosage on biosorption column method. results showed optimum conditions absorption occurred at 2 gram . maximum efficiency 96,85%
